Will The Lord See Us I believe the Bible, all 66 of the accepted books, is all about Jesus, therefore when the widow gives all she has I don't believe it is about tithing. I believe the point is that Jesus noticed. I hope this video stirs others to do some investigating.
I Exalt Thee - Phil Driscoll I was contacted by a church in TX about doing a video on the song I Exalt Thee. They liked my version of the Eagles song Learn To Be Still. They did not want a syrupy version, but something that conveyed the message with an edge to it. A couple of days later they notified me that they had decided to do the project themselves. They still paid me $50, half of what I was going to charge them since they figured I had already started. I was disappointed, but I thought they were more than fair. So here is what I came up with.
Heal Our Land In 2004 while Lily and I were attending Grace Community Church I bought one of the Church CDs because I like Ken Snyder's music. The CD also had a song written and sung by Senior Pastor Stan Russell. I really like the song so I made a video for Stan as a Christmas present. I also used the video as one of my first class projects for Seminary.
No Greater Love I made this video for Dr. Delamarter's Cosmos and Spirituality Class. Lily wrote the poem that anchors the song. Tom wrote the rest, music and sings and plays the keyboard. He has a wonderful song called The Corners of My Soul, but it is not copyrighted yet as he has a new job and is in love. I hope he returns to his music ... soon.
Footsteps to the Cross A few years ago Lily and I were a part of 3 Churches coming together to celebrate the resurrection of Christ. Each group had 10 minutes to represent their part of The Passion. Our group had the crucifixion. No matter what I did Lily thought it was 'over the top.' Finally I brought in audio clips from Jesus of Nazarath and The Robe, kept it at ten minutes and she gave her OK.

The ThrowawaysImagine sitting in a classroom with 20 or so people all younger and brighter than yourself. That was me in Dr. Conniry's Preaching Class. Like Hebrew and Greek, I had no choice. I had to be there to graduate. I believe almost everyone in the class was already a pastor or serving in that role. I will be a pastor only if God places me in that position. I see myself as an encourager and a rope holder. I do not want to do anything except what God has prepared and enabled me to do. Still, I had to prepare a message to pass the class. My Theology ProjectIn Contemporary Trends in Theology our class was divided into groups of four. Each person in each group was assigned one of four different types of theologians. We had to support why we had chosen these people for our assigned group. I had Lay Theologians, but the more I thought about it, it seemed to me that we are all theologians. We don't need to be a folk preacher-teacher, lay, academic or professional. We are all theologians and the criteria should be our impact on others. Thus this video.
